Aux M\u00eames - About us<\/h2>\n
\nWe moved to France in 2003 to create our campsite at Aux M\u00eames, once a typical Gascony farm. Aux M\u00eames lies near the village of Bellegarde in the Department of the Gers. The Gers is one of the thirteen Departments of the Occitanie region and is just south of the Dordogne.<\/p>\n

'Aux M\u00eames' doesn't translate well but the old Occitan name 'Los Memos' or in English 'the memories' is more meaningful.<\/p>\n

The hill-top farmhouses and campsite all have views of the Pyrenees and surrounding countryside and are set in 10 hectares (22 acres) of rolling farmland. Most of the land at Aux M\u00eames is still farmed today, the rest being made up of several woods and a small vineyard.<\/p>\n

Our aim is to provide a relaxed friendly environment where everyone can enjoy a stress free break and take home some wonderful memories of their own.<\/p>\n

As campers and caravaners ourselves we have tried to incorporate all the best attributes and more of the sites we've visited over many years.<\/p>\n

We pride ourselves on the quality and cleanliness of our facilities. We are constantly updating and improving within the cosy atmosphere of a site with less than 30 pitches.<\/p>\n

From June we serve hot and cold drinks with a good selection of local French wines and beers on draught.<\/p>\n
